I was very happy to find out that my mom has a Christmas tree that we can use and thanks to generous freecyclers and family there will be toys on Christmas. :)

With there still being no income this should probably have been the least of my concerns but knowing that my kids will have fun on Christmas makes me feel a whole lot better.

Emma has been my helper all day. :)

This has been the longest week. Our washing machine quit working,Hunny lost his job,Emma cut open her lip,We found out that we need to move - twice- in less than 4 months and I had to start remodeling the bathroom.
So today I painted the bathroom, did laundry by hand (my arms ache), hung laundry on the line, did dishes, bathed Emma and made dinner and started cleaning the kitchen.
We're supposed to show the house this weekend and I am so exhausted!
My favorite saying is keeping me going: This too shall pass.

You can practice joy and thanksgiving. Every day, every right response makes the fingers of your soul find the notes of joy and thanksgiving easier and easier.

Autumn

I love Autumn! Our yard is covered in beautiful leaves and our big pumpkin is almost ready. The weather is abnormally warm. It has been getting up to 78 during the day. The evenings still feel like Autumn though and we enjoy lighting the candles and snuggling under our blankets.
I have been baking more too;pies, pineapple upside down cake, cookies and biscuits. Soon we will start baking for Thanksgiving. :)
Yep, this is definitely my favorite time of year.
